Brisbane's LGBTIQ-inclusive water polo club
The Brisbane Tritons is a joint initiative of the Sydney Stingers, Melbourne Surge, and Brisbane Barracudas. The club was formed in February 2016 and has since grown to over 70 members with 4 teams competing in the Brisbane Seniors men's competition.
Gay Games 2018
The Tritons are sending a team of 18 to Paris for the Gay Games 2018! This will be our first international competition, competing in the recreational division. We'll be joining over 10,000 athletes from various sporting codes, showing diversity and inclusion, and that sport is truely for everyone.
Whether you're new or returning to water polo, The Tritons welcome anyone to join us.
Together with the Brisbane Barracudas, the Tritons are leaders in promoting inclusion and diversity within the Queensland water polo community.
We're privileged to have the support of our 2 sponsors who have enabled us to bring the sport of water polo to our players. The Wickham and Physio on Brunswick have provided ongoing support and opportunities for the Tritons over the last two years. We thank and appreciate all they do for us.
