Rookies Registration

Looking to sign up for our Rookies program, well you're in luck because it's back, back, back again!

If you are new to water polo or a returning player after a long hiatus, Rookies is for you!

Our Spring '27 Rookies program is from Sunday 11 October - Sunday 15 November.

Consisting of 5 pool sessions and 1 social event held on consecutive Sunday afternoons, you will learn (or relearn) the foundational movements of water polo i.e. swimming, treading (eggbeater kick), holding the ball, catching the ball, passing the ball, shooting the ball, team formation, and game play rules, and make some new friends along the way.

In sessions 1-4, you will be led by accredited coaches who will guide you through your foundational skill development, and you'll have experienced Tritons mentoring you in the water.

In Session 5, the club will come together for a fun round-robin, where you will play in evenly split, mixed teams to put into practice everything you have learned.

Where:

Valley Pool, Fortitude Valley

Cost:

$75 for the entire program:
