The Rookies program consists of 5 pool sessions held on consecutive Sunday afternoons, where you will learn the foundational movements of water polo i.e. swimming, treading (eggbeater kick), holding the ball, catching the ball, passing the ball, shooting the ball, team formation, and game play rules.
In sessions 1-4, you will be led by accredited coaches who will guide you through your foundational skill development, and you'll have experienced Tritons mentoring you in the water.
In Session 5, the club will come together for a fun round-robin, where you will play in evenly split, mixed teams to put into practice everything you have learned.
